In my last blog post I talked about how I was going to create designs on my snowboard/skateboard. To create those designs I am going to print out stencils and spray paint them on. For the grip tape I`m not yet sure how I will make different colored grip tape but I will do research and find out how. Eventually I will try to get the colored grip tape on once I know how.
Now that I have a prototype of my snowboard I am going to be putting designs on it. I will put the designs on the bottom of the snowboard. I could even try to make colorful grip tape to make it look better. Then in the summer you can turn the snowboard back to a skateboard and I could make different wheels for the skateboard.

Today I have done my idea show case. It was great. Everyone there seemed to be interested in everyone's project. I got a lot of good ideas from everyone who talked to me about my project. Some of the ideas people offered me were during the summer I could out the wheels back on the skateboard. Then in the winter I can convert it back into a snowboard.

Lately I have been working on designing my skis on Tinkercad. It has been going fine so far. The only problem is that Tinkercad is going through maintenance. I feel like I have gotten really far with designing. Once Tinkercad is done with maintenance I will continue to design my skis. For now I will research different skis, how they work and what they need to work.

My first choice for my 20 Percent Time project is building my own skis. My second choice would have to be a homemade remote control car. I am more likely to choose making my own skis because making a remote control car would require lots of materials that are hard to get and I don`t have. Making a ski wouldn't be as hard to get the materials so I will choose that. Also, since I can ski, I might be able to test them at Hidden Valley or my front yard.
